Charlotte, North Carolina — Concord Terrazzo Company became an official associate member of the National Terrazzo and Mosaic Association in September 2016.
The NTMA, headquartered in Fredericksburg, TX, is a full-service Non-Profit Trade Association that establishes national standards for all terrazzo systems. Membership in the NTMA is limited to terrazzo contractors who meet rigid proficiency standards and participate in continuing education seminars conducted annually by the Association. Associate membership is available to material suppliers whose products comply with the standards stipulated by the Association.
Concord Terrazzo Company is pleased that TERRAZZCO® Brand Products meets NTMA’s standards for the terrazzo industry. Concord Terrazzo Company is listed as a manufacturer of TERRAZZCO Brand Products in three categories under the associate membership: precast terrazzo products, thin-set epoxy resin, and aggregates.
Concord Terrazzo Company joins the NTMA after over a decade since the company opened for business and Chief Executive Officer Peter Mielcarek is excited about the new opportunity. Mielcarek started Concord Terrazzo Company in early 2000, researching and developing innovative products for the terrazzo industry using a customer-centric approach. Mielcarek’s long-term goals for the company include helping architects and contractors find all materials for a terrazzo installation in one central location while also developing products using innovative yet effective methods and using green techniques throughout production and delivery.
Concord Terrazzo Company likes to thank the National Terrazzo and Mosaic Association for the induction into the organization.
