Design Submission

Step 1:
Design Submission

To get started, it’s important to provide detailed drawings or designs. This helps our team assess the feasibility of your project and offer any necessary recommendations.

We suggest submitting high-resolution vector files or AutoCad files (.DWG), as these formats ensure the precision needed for our waterjet cutting process. The artwork should be sent to us at the exact size to be cut.

Step 2:
Waterjet Consultation

Our representative will review your artwork and help determine key details such as size, thickness, materials, and quantity.

Our waterjet cutting service handles a wide range of materials, perfect for creating custom inlays, signage, terrazzo logos, and intricate floor designs, designed exact to your specifications.

Project Estimation

Step 3:
Pricing and Proposal

Next, our sales representatives will prepare a detailed proposal outlining the cost of the waterjet cutting services. The proposal takes into account variables that influence pricing, including the complexity of the design, the materials selected, and the overall size of the artwork.

During this phase, our representatives will go over the estimated timeframe for project completion.

Step 4:
Approval and Design Finalized

Once the proposal has been sent to the client for review, the next step is to finalize the design. Any necessary adjustments should be made at this stage to ensure all specifications are accurate.

Upon the client’s approval, the proposal must be signed to confirm the project details and move forward. This approval allows us to proceed with production, and ensure all requirements are met to the highest standards.

Step 5:
Payment and Production

For production to begin, we ask the order be paid in full.

During production, a sheet of metal (or other specified material) is placed on the machine bed. Using a high-pressure water stream combined with an abrasive, the waterjet precisely follows programmed coordinates to cut the design. Each piece is crafted to exact specifications, and in most cases, plastic templates are provided to guide assembly.

While waterjet cutting can often be completed with short lead times, the completion time may vary based on the size, quantity, and complexity of the project. Our team will keep you informed throughout the process to ensure timely delivery.

Step 6:
Quality Control & Review

After the waterjet cutting process is complete, our team will conduct a thorough review of all components. Some projects come with plastic templates, which we will lay out the entire design and label each piece accordingly to ensure proper alignment and ease of installation.

By performing quality control, we ensure the final product meets the client’s expectations in terms of accuracy, quality, and overall appearance.

Step 7:
Packaging & Delivery

Waterjet cut pieces are packaged and stored in our warehouse for up to 30 days. (Storage fee is applied for products stored after 30 days.)

Concord Terrazzo Company can assist with arranging freight, or you may choose to coordinate your own freight. We are happy to work with your transportation provider to ensure a smooth and timely delivery.
