Who Does Concord Terrazzo Company Typically Work With?

Concord Terrazzo Company supplies terrazzo materials to qualified contractors.

TERRAZZCO epoxy resins are commonly supplied to terrazzo installers across the United States.

For aggregates, Concord Terrazzo Company provides wholesale quantities for terrazzo contractors, specialty flooring contractors, landscapers, and other construction professionals.

What are Standard Lead Times for Materials?

Concord Terrazzo Company specializes in supplying materials for poured-in-place epoxy terrazzo. Materials for poured-in-place epoxy terrazzo typically takes 2-4 weeks or less to manufacture and deliver to a project site.

All of Concord Terrazzo’s precast terrazzo products including stairs, countertops, and wall base are custom-made-to-order, and will typically take 12-14 weeks to produce once samples are approved.

Note: Please check with a Concord Terrazzo representative on availability and current lead times on products. Email info@terrazzco.com.

Can You Provide a Price List?

We do not provide a price list online.

Does Concord Terrazzo Company Supply Terrazzo Tile?

Concord Terrazzo Company specializes in supplying material for poured-in-place epoxy terrazzo projects. Many of the terrazzo tiles produced at our precast facility are used on a poured-in-place terrazzo project in small areas such as elevator cabs, stair landings, and small lobby and restroom areas.

As precast terrazzo products are custom-made-to-order, we do not mass produce terrazzo tiles as a stock item. Because TERRAZZCO terrazzo tiles come as an accessory to the poured-in-place system, Concord Precast does not typically manufacture this product for high-traffic commercial areas in considerably large spaces and does not market this product for use in homes.

A Concord Terrazzo Company representative can discuss possible solutions for your terrazzo project, and answer any questions regarding general uses and limitations for terrazzo tiles. Email info@terrazzco.com for more information.

Can Epoxy Terrazzo Be Used Outdoors?

The TERRAZZCO Epoxy Terrazzo System is not intended to be used outdoors as a flooring, countertop, or wall application. This is due to epoxy being sensitive to ultraviolet and heat. Epoxy terrazzo is recommended for indoor applications only.

If you are seeking to use terrazzo outside, a cement-terrazzo rustic system would be more ideal.

How long to complete an epoxy terrazzo floor?

The time it takes to complete an epoxy terrazzo floor varies from one project to the next. Take into consideration the size of the project, the design complexity, and substrate conditions.

Epoxy terrazzo once poured in place and troweled at 1/4″ or 3/8″ nominal thickness will cure overnight. Cement terrazzo, in comparison, will take 4-5 times longer to install than epoxy terrazzo. For small epoxy terrazzo projects, an installation is completed in approximately one week.

Does Concord Terrazzo Company help with Matching and Repairs?

Yes. Concord Terrazzo Company representatives can help contractors find the right materials to match the color of an existing terrazzo floor and its aggregates.

A Concord Terrazzo Company will ask contractors to send photos of the terrazzo floor for review or even deliver a portion of the existing floor to match.

For more details about our color matching services, contact us at info@terrazzco.com.

Can I Install TERRAZZCO Epoxy Resins over Existing Floors?

TERRAZZCO EZPour Epoxy 158 can be poured directly over an existing surface such as concrete, plywood, wood, and metal so long as the underlying substrate is strong and structural sound.

This can help save contractors time and costs to demolition the subfloor.

We do not advise using TERRAZZCO Epoxy Resins over soft materials such as carpet, vinyl, or VCT. Contact a terrazzo-approved contractor to learn more about applying epoxy terrazzo over an existing floor at info@terrazzco.com.
