Concord Precast Terrazzo helps architects and designers create custom self-supporting terrazzo staircases for commercial projects. All custom stairs come in a multitude of sizes and thicknesses.
Built to fit any style of staircase. Self-supporting stairs are produced with high-quality results and delivered for a quick and easy installation.
Self-supporting stairs are an interesting architectural solution that improves the aesthetics of any institutional, commercial or industrial space. Self-supporting terrazzo stairs are free-standing which gives them a lighter elegant appearance. The treads are supported by stair stringers without any supporting wall. These stair treads are built to fit various stair designs including straight and curved staircases.
For safety, abrasive channels are cut into the surface of the stair tread and filled with TERRAZZCO Brand epoxy resin and silicon carbide. This produces an anti-slip tread.
Concord Terrazzo professionals offer fully customizable solutions for architects and designers. Designers can craft a beautiful staircase for locations like schools, hospitals, or any architectural project using cost-effective and environmentally-friendly terrazzo materials.
Due to the customization of epoxy terrazzo self-supporting stair treads, standard lead times are approximately 12-14 weeks. Concord Terrazzo Production of stair treads begins when designers approve samples and 50% deposit is made. Remaining 50% due prior to shipping of the product.
